I'm not sure why I'm here

So who are you guys and girls anyway? This is the forum to post about yourself and make a little introduction to the community in. If you want, you can also add a picture of yourself to your profile. To post a picture you will need webspace from a provider, such as Boomspeed. If you are totally unable to get somewhere to host your picture, then e-mail it and your biography details to me and I will arrange something if I can. This forum is only really meant for meeting and greeting. You're welcome to carry on in any of the other forums though. n.b. The rule on locking threads here has been changed. Now it's just set so that new posts to a thread will not cause it to go back to the top of page 1. That'll ensure all newbies get the same amount of attention to their posts.

Ah, of course. I'm not completely sure about what I am trying to achieve by joining an Internet forum. However, I'll give a chance and see what I find out. I guess every time I've thought about it after lurking on forums, I've seen the Internet as predatory, and I'm not seeking anything from anybody. I am ready to be proved wrong.

I'm in London for a couple of months before going back to uni. Are you from london originally or are you one of the many who've moved here?
